Have you ever experienced your computer becomes unresponsive or hangs, while some application, like Outlook or some Windows service is consuming 100% of processor resources? It is pretty annoying to wait for indefinite time (seconds, some times even minutes), while your latest Quad Core Extreme CPU is busy doing you-don't-know-what. Yes, this could happen even if you have a dual core or quad core processor in your PC.

This tool does not make your computer or OS run faster. It lets you set CPU quotas to applications and services. No single program will be allowed to utilize more CPU resources then you assign. Buying faster hardware won't help while there are applications that could misbehave. Windows OS does not have a built-in tool for setting CPU quotas for applications.
